If you have decided to visit our beautiful city by the river Drava, the team of Hotel Bau Maribor would like to invite you to spend some time in Maister’s company and thus get to know better the life and work of the great General Rudolf Maister – Vojanov.

The two-day package will take you on the following adventures:

  • You will be greeted at the hotel with a smile and a glass of excellent gin from local producers Maister, which, like us, is one of the holders of the quality label »Our Best«.
  • We will invite you to visit the permanent exhibition of the Museum of National Liberation in Maribor where you will get to know this important man better.
  • Since you are already in the city, this is a unique opportunity to walk around the Old Town and see the Old Vine.
  • Finish the day with an overnight stay in one of our comfortable rooms (4*) equipped with natural and renewable resources.
  • After an ideal start to the day, with a cup of fragrant coffee and a delicious buffet breakfast made with fresh and local products, check out from the hotel.
  • We will say goodbye with a Maister magnet from the Maribor Regional Museum and a bottle (200 ml) of Maister gin, so you can really see that it’s great!
  • This will be followed by a short drive through the idyllic hills of the Slovenske gorice mountains.
  • We will send you to Zavrh, where General Maister used to go on holiday.
  • You will climb the Završki Tover or Maister’s Tower, which offers breathtaking views far and wide. After visiting the museum room next to it, you can say that now you know something about Maister.

The supplement for the second person is 33,00€.
